Water utility service at an existing water service may be provided pursuant to an application to the Town Water Utility to establish an account. The Town, as a condition precedent to approving an application to establish an account for water service to any premises, shall collect all installation and other charges required by this Water Utility Code. Title to pipes, fittings and other water facilities shall be and remain in the Town of Oro Valley. Where service is requested by two (2) or more individuals at the same location the Town shall have the right to collect the full amount owned for water utility service from any one of the applicants at the Town’s discretion. The Town shall have a minimum time frame of forty-eight (48) hours within which to begin service. The following minimum information shall be required from each new applicant for water utility service: (a) Name or names of applicant(s); (b) Service address or location and telephone number and/or daytime telephone number; (c) Billing address/telephone number (if different than service address); (d) Date applicant will be ready for service; (e) Purpose for which service is to be used; (f) Indication of whether applicant is owner or tenant of or agent for the premises.
